Equipment

For speaking engagements, based on the size of venue and audience, the following equipment and resources may be required to be set up on location:

Microphone and sound system
Full screen
Projector with AV cables
Flipchart with pad and markers or whiteboard with markers and eraser
Podium or table
Chair or stool

Deposits

Deposit of at least 50% of Brenda Blackburn’s fee is required at time of booking. The remainder is due no later than two business days prior to the engagement. There is a 5% discount for engagements paid in full at time of booking.

Travel Expenses

Travel expenses will be the booking organization’s responsibility. For all events booked in Canada, round trip coach airfare for Brenda Blackburn is required. For all events outside Canada, business class travel for Brenda Blackburn is required. Ground transportation and meals will be reimbursed to Brenda Blackburn within 30 days of the engagement. Hotels should be billed directly to your organization.

Cancellation Policy

If the engagement is cancelled for any reason more than sixty (60) days prior to the agreed date, it is our policy to reschedule (within the reasonable time of 12 months) for the same fee. Should you be forced to cancel the program sixty days or less before the date of the program the full speaking fee is due and payable by the date of the original program.

All speaking engagements contain copyrighted material, which may not be reproduced or distributed, in any way, without the permission of Brenda Blackburn. Audio and/or video rights are negotiable.
